This was my very first project. The pattern is from the book "Knitting for Baby: 30 Heirloom Projects with Complete How-to-Knit Instructions". I love this book. I knit this while pregnant with my first child.

I saw my Aunt knitting in December of 2003, at a family get together. I was impressed. A few weeks later a package arrived containing needles, yarn and a book on how to knit (my Aunt sent it to me). I was pregnant with my first child and determined to knit him some booties. I succeeded. From there I was hooked. I have been trying to knit ever since. Here is where I babble about my attempts at knitting and life.
